Nadjat Chenine is the founder of Dhakira Connect and leads digitization projects nationwide through the National Association of Algerian Libraries and Information (ABIA). She has more than 21 years of experience in university libraries and serves as an expert instructor at the National Institute of Productivity and Industrial Development (INPED) in electronic document management, electronic archiving, and digital transformation.
Her achievements include digitizing and organizing 541 documents from the documentary collection of Emir Abdelkader El Djazairi, using ABCD software, whose development was co-supervised by Egbert de Smet, and the MARC 21 and Dublin Core metadata standards to support access, preservation, and long-term sustainability.
Her professional background includes hands-on projects and services supported by certificates of satisfactory completion for Algerian enterprises, libraries, and universities, as well as participation in national and international conferences and webinars.
Dhakira Connect brings this experience into a practical vision: protecting documentary memory, organizing knowledge, and developing the skills needed to sustain digital projects.
